Design proof

A version of a design submitted to a client for review and feedback before it is finalised.

A design proof is any draft or revision shared with a client for sign-off. Proofs go through rounds (Round 1, Round 2, etc.) until the client approves. A good proofing workflow tracks every version, captures feedback against the specific version it relates to, and stamps the final approved version unambiguously.
